Urgent action is needed to boost the number of Muslim officers in counter-terrorism units, the National Association of Muslim Police has said rather shockingly.
Does anyone out there have any experience of this farce.
Soon we will be employing murderers and rapists to use their expertise in solving similar crimes.

I think that this blog is an excellent idea, well done!
Personally I believe that police officers should be allowed to join any political party or association that they wish to providing of course that it does not interfere with their duties towards the Citizens that they are paid to protect.
This goes without saying, and it should not matter if they are members of the BNP or indeed the SWP or UKIP.
One thing I do fear though is the recruitment of Muslims, especially for anti-terror policing.It is said that 'the poacher makes the best gamekeeper, but surely this only applies when the former poacher has given up his former crimes, and is seen to be doing so.
I have yet to hear of so called 'moderate Muslims' standing up and properly denouncing jihadists for their crimes! But they are mainly silent, which in my view means that they agree with what the extremists hope to achieve!
